He loves beans!

I was so sure he'd be grossed out be them, but he honestly loved them!  Woohoo!  Another good, healthy option.  He's so finicky about his food, it's getting hard.  He loves carbs and cheese, but he can't live on them, of course :)

    I just made kidney beans.  I have some black beans, but I'm not sure how to prepare them because I never have!  I'm assuming the same way...

    I have given my DS canned black beans but they are SOOOO messy.  I might try kidney beans next time.

    Oh man, good point on the mess...FWIW, kidney beans were messier than I thought, too!  He likes to mash them.
