I may post this on a national board, but thought I would try here
first. I am going ask my pedi too, but I want a quick response (and to
make sure I am not an idiot). I plan to make and puree everything
myself (and have been). We did banana, avacado, sweet potato, and today
peaches, which I cooked then pureed. *I am already using
wholesomebabyfood.com as a reference plus several books.*

Do/did you cook all the fresh fruit first and then puree? Does all
fresh fruit except banana and avacodo need to be cooked? At what point
can you do raw?
Re: Help-Solid Food Questions
We cooked all fruits/veggies up until recently but I read a lot of moms saying they did it raw so it's possible. I baked or steamed pretty much everything until he hit about 8 months and could do chunkier food.
I waited on everything. If we did hummus, yes, I'd slowly introduce every ingredient. That's me.
1) At first, yes we cooked everything (except banana, avocado, papaya). I'd say around 7-8 months I started to give him raw fruits that mash easily, like mango and papaya and ripe pears. It's really just to make sure it purees easily, not so much because it HAS to be cooked. If you find a fruit that is nice and ripe and soft, like a soft peach with the peel removed you could probably puree it smoothly and serve it that way.
2) We still follow the four day wait rule, and yes you have to break it down by ingredient. We gave DS hummus probably around 9 months and he liked it! We aren't as anal now because by now most of the potential allergenic food is safe, but yes we follow the 4 day wait rule just to make sure there aren't any allergic reactions.
