WTF?!?! I get blood taken ALL the time for my thyroid and it never hurts or bruises. This new girl did it yesterday and it hurt like a SOB and look

    OMG!  That looks painful!  I had the same thing happen one year (ok, my bruise wasn't THAT bad) when I had blood drawn, the girl couldn't find my vein to save her life.

    Everyone has to learn! It is just too bad it had to be on you! I feel sorry for everyone I learned to start IV's on...

    I got a bruise like that from donating blood one time.  It's no fun, but unfortunately yes, people do have to learn and sometimes it takes a while for them to get it right every time.  My mom is a nurse and anytime she saw that they were having trouble getting her IV in right or drawing blood right, she would just do it to herself.  lol.  hope it feels better soon!
