i'm so lame

ever since i was little i've done a countdown to my birthday. i always start it on aug 5 bc it's exactly 2 months before my birthday. when i was younger it was all about the presents, but now it's just the pure excitement for me. anyway, i noticed earlier that today is the 7th and that i have less than 2 months till my bday. i got super excited. then i got sad bc i realized that i'll be in my late 20s and only 3 years away from 30 lol.

    yes, its just funny how we imagine people's age.  garnet thought i was waaaaay older than i am.

    I hear you. That's me in a little less than 4 months.  December 1st had better be fun.  Otherwise, it's going to be very depressing.

    You and me both!! 

    My family refers to july 5th - Sept 1st as The Birthday Season in honor of my B'day on Aug 29.  I've always made a big stink about it since I was a baby. 

    My family rocks though.  They give me cards to kick off the Season and give little dinky gifts and cards all through The Season. 

    You should try it!  DH and the IL's have even caught on.

    I've been working on my family for years, you have to wear him down and be persistent.  It may take time, but it's worth it in the end!!

    A friend recently busted me for using "lame" as a synonym for dumb.  It was eye opening for me, as it's not something I had thought about before.

    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.
