It's where people make people that let their kids cry feel bad about themselves as parents and as humans. They also like wearing their kids 24/7 like backpacks. I don't know why it has it's own board. There are some aspects that make sense but like everything else that can go over board it seems to be governed by people that think they know everything about parenting and if you don't do it your kid will be Jeffrey Dahmer.

The idea of wearing your kid freaks me out.  Im clumsy, and I would be afraid of 1- the baby falling out and 2- walking into a wall while wearing them.... like I said, im not graceful by any standard.

I like how people think they just discovered parenting. People have done it since the dawn of time-chill out! My mother didn't wear me, she let me cry, didn't cloth diaper me, or make me organic baby food and I couldn't love her more, I don't have attachment issues, and I am not a drug using mother hater. Give me a break.

Word.  I've worked in childcare for about 10 years now and the people who have the most screwed up kids are AP-style parents.  The kids I've seen are really unhappy because they feel out of control because they have no boundaries.
