We just got married in May and DH already had the Tempurpedic. We met several years ago working in retail selling beds, so we're both kind of picky and used to having the "best". I never liked the tempurpedic though. I hate how hot it gets and I am not even a hot natured person. And it was so hard, like a big flat slab. I woke up with shoulder pain a lot and I have never had shoulder problems. Now we have a Stearns and Foster pillowtop. It is so comfy. Very similar to the bed I had before we got married, but mine was a queen and DH just had to have a king.

We have a stearns and foster pillowtop! By far the best bed in the world! If you ask me anyway!

I quite agree! I passed my queen size stearns down to my DD. That's a lot of luxury for one lucky 4 year old.

Ugh I HATE our Tempurpedic but unfortunately we cannot afford to buy a new mattress. ?We are planning on buying a feather bed to put on top of it and some expensive pillows. ?Hopefully that will do the trick.

That's interesting that you say you get too hot. We have a three year old S&F Pillowtop that we love but I have wondered about the Temperpedic. I am constantly flipping my pillow over to the cool side so I'm glad to know the Temperpedic is warm. I am not a warm person normally. My husband is the complete opposite.

I've been sleeping in 90 degree nights and I've never had a problem with our Tempurpedic... Is it possible it's because you and DH are sleeping too close together... Like the bed is too small. ?DH and I have a Cal King Tempurpedic, sometimes it's like we're sleeping on two different beds entirely. ?I've never ever been too hot while sleeping. ?I love my Tempurpedic... they will tell you to give it a few weeks to get used to it because the mattress is so different than most anything that people have slept on. ?It took DH almost 2 weeks before he was comfy when we first bought it - he thought it was the most expensive mistake we'd ever made. ?Now, he can't wait to get home from vacations just to sleep on his bed. ?I'm in love with my Tempurpedic.
