Anyone in SD dealing with a Two Vessel Cord baby or give birth to one?

We are 21 wks today and about 2 wks ago we found out we are having a girl and they also told us she has a Two Vessel Cord instead of three (for normal babies).  We have done some research and I am confident that our baby Victoria will be born normal however there is about a 20% ratio of birth defects for Two Vessel Cord babies.

I would love to know how others are dealing with it and how your baby has been developing.

  • Thanks for everyone who has read this...I feel supported even though no one is experiencing the exact same.  We found out in our 19th week and since then we have had another ultrasound and our baby Victoria is doing great.  She is progressing normally! We are being hopeful and watching her growth closely.

We wish every babie-to-be the best in health!
