S/O to tasting solids...What about formula or BM?

Have you ever tried it? I EBF and have never tasted my BM. I assume it's good enough for LO because she loves it!

Yep, DH and I both tried EBM.  It has no scent and a very light sweet flavor.  If it's good enough for my child...  LOL.

I have never actually tried my BM either. I mean it got on my hand in the beginning and I kind of  licked it but not the same as really "tasting" it. I do have to say the DH tried it in the beginning though, just a tiny bit from a bottle!!!! He didn't say it was bad

I haven't chugged the stuff, but i have tasted BM before to see if it was still good.  It wasn't

Yes, I have tasted BM. I don't think I would taste formula... for some reason that grosses me out. fwiw, I would also never taste powdered milk.

Dh refuses to taste BM. I've tried many times, lolz.

Oh yeah and i've tasted formula but not on purpose really. I was trying to see if DD's new sippy was working because it didn't seem like she was getting anything out and I wasn't thinking about what was in the cup!  I spit it out because, frankly, the smell of formula is pretty gross, let alone the taste!

I've tried BM and like other have said, it's sweet.  DH tried it too.
