Right now my DD eats 7 or 8 3.5 oz pumped breast milk per day (I EP). She is 2 months old.
When should I start giving her bigger bottles? And is it true that babies between 1-6 months eat about the same amount? So this would mean that we would just feed her the same number of oz, just different amounts at different times?
I would just love to cut down on the amount of bottles I wash every day. :-)
Re: Question on feeding
I also pump only (still try to nurse, but doesn't work well). How much he eats varies per day but... he has about 12 oz per day at daycare, and 12 when at home...
Long story short... 24 oz per day.
I just noticed how much your feeding your LO each day, I think you should talk to your pediatrician... DS is a preemie and eat AT LEAST double that a 2 months.
Reallly? I thought what she was eating was totally normal. She eats about 25 oz per day, which I was told was totally normal for her age. She was 7 lbs at birth, and was 9lb6oz at her 1 month check up. I thought that 2 to 2 1/2 times their body weight in oz per day was normal.
Will baby #3 be another girl?

We started on 6 6oz bottles today. For the last month he was getting 4 5oz and 2 6oz a day.
