and it has only been 10-20 minutes so you try to bring them into the house quietly and put them back to bed...do they stay asleep usually or wake up?
DS woke up, yet he barely slept in the car and I know he still has to be so tired. I nursed him and he wanted to stick his pacifier in my mouth and giggle. So I put him in the crib and left. He keeps making a few noises and I hear him banging the pacifier on the crib railing. I think I'll leave him for awhile (or until he cries) and pray that he goes back to bed. Otherwise, it will be a loooooooooong night!
