Babies: 9 - 12 Months

LOL Yea I think we're done w/ the changing table

I layed Lillian on it to take off her onesie so we could eat lunch and she flipped completely over on it and tried crawling away from me!!   LOLOL  I was right there so she didn't fall or anything but she is getting WAY to mobile for me to feel safe with it now.

  • hehe...DD has been doing this for 2 or 3 months now...I started to change her on the floor half the time because our changing area is on top of a dresser and there is no wall except on the side!  At daycare when DD does this there is a wall behind her head so when she flips and tries to go she hits her head!  I have to pin DD down half the time to change her anyway, it's like a torture chamber up there to her.

  • I am thinking about doing away with it too.  The second I lay Alex on it he flips over.  I have mastered getting him dress that way, but changing his diaper is a different story.  I guess we will have to start using our bed or the floor from now on.  It makes me sad just thinking about putting it away, because that just means he is growing up.  :-(

  • We stopped using ours for a while, but then around 1.5 ish it was helpful again because then they couldn't get up an run away, but knew they would fall if they tried. lol
