Filling out the application to one of the two accelerated second-degree BSN programs I'm applying to. I have essays to write (and they don't seem too difficult), official transcripts and letters of recommendation to request, and I need to take the GRE in the next month or two but all the form stuff will be filled out and ready to roll!
Right now I am mostly just trying to decide if I want to apply to the CNM program at the same time (which I would start a few months after the BSN ends), or if I want to get the BSN, get a year or two of nursing work experience first (which is required for some states to get an advance practice license), then go back.
Re: AW: I'm doing it!
thats awesome! congrats on taking the leap!
(I am graduating nursing school in a couple weeks - w/an associates- and applying to take the NCLEX!)
Whoops, sorry! I do that all the time IRL, too. BSN is bachelor of science in nursing. GRE is graduate record examination, like the grad school SAT. CNM is certified nurse midwife.
