And I don't think I am, but taking a test just in case...
I think I would get a lot of shitty comments from my friends and family. Yesterday, I casually mentioned that I was concerned I was pg to a friend, and she said, "That would be a disaster!" I was like, "No, actually it wouldn't." I thought that was bitchy. I don't want to get pg for another 2.5 yeras, but if I did, it wouldn't be a disaster. And when I casually mentioned something to my mom, she said, "OH my. I hope not!" WTF?
Anyways - for those who are trying to get pg, or who didn't try but are pg anyways - how did/will your family and friends react?
Re: If I really am pg now...
You know I am going to tell my mom that I am PG - she will probably faint...especially since I had my tubes tied after Katie...LMAO....
My side of the family would be happy. They know we are ttc right now, and wanted to start just before I went back to work knowing that it probably will take a while with dh working oot.
My dh's family doesn't understand why we want 3 kids, let alone 2 under 2. But they will be happy to add another one. DH is an only child.
hmm My coworker ( I was pg with her last year ) announced she was pg when her DD was 6 months old, and honestly, my first thought was WOW! Not because of $ issues, or anything like that, but to ME -- that is just soo soon (hence my boys being 3.5 years apart LOL)
maybe that is where they are coming from?
ps, I did NOT tell my coworker it would be a disaster though....
