I had a few different cute, coordinating ideas for the girls but DD#1 is adamant that she is going to a pirate. And not, the girly pirate but rather the boy pirate w/ the eye patch, a fake mustache and beard drawn on.... Lord.

We are going to watch the Wizard of Oz in the next few weeks so I can try and brainwash her into wanting to dress as Dorothy and I can have my little one go as the cowardly lion.

Any ideas for your little ones yet?

I think DD is going to be a 50's sock hop girl!  I found an adorable poodle skirt and top and with two pigtails in her hair, she will be so sweet!  I am so excited!

DD informed me last night that she will be a ballerina for Halloween (not sure where she got that...she hates wearing her tutu) and that DS will be a skunk.  I'm thinking we'll just go with that, because I don't have any better ideas.

DH and I are going to be Wilma and Fred Flintstone.  DD will be Pebbles, DS will be Bam Bam and the baby will be Dino.  I have been planning it for months.

My 7 yr old wants to be a tractor trailer truck driver. How the heck am I going to do that? They just wear jeans and a tshirt...not very exciting. My 4 year old wants to be a ghost. Woo hoo, talk about fun costumes.

DS2 will be a lion (same costume DS1 wore).  DS2 wants to be a giraffe, a turtle, a dragon, or a dinosaur.  Or even spiderman/batman/superman.  I made the mistake of showing him the costume catalog we just got and he got all excited.  I think that we might end up with the Gymboree dinosaur though - I was really happy with the quality of the penguin we got last year.

I have awesome pictures of myself at 3 dressed as spiderman and at 4 I was a fireman. Don't worry about it, at 5 I was all pink princess!

I need to get working on a costume for DD since I'll have a new one to focus on in October!
