omg so creeped out right now

So I'm sitting in bed reading, DH is asleep next to me and the windows are open in our bedroom since it's hot. All of a sudden I hear "Pssst..." right outside the window next to my side of the bed! I am dead serious. I am so freaked out right now and DH went outside to investigate.

Why did I read this when DH is sleeping and I'm in the den and all the lights in the house are off???  ::shivers::  Hopefully it's nothing going on...maybe a big bug making noise?!?!?

I was thinking the same thing. DH always pops up half asleep and heads out with his belly hanging over his pants. I'm always like, "at least take a weapon so you look intimidating!!!"

We had giant hissing centipedes that hissed.  Scary as poop.

The centipeds were actually in hawaii.  Since I'm in the city, we have not actually encountered any bugs/wildlife.  It's kinda weird.  There isn't even any roadkill...

June bugs hiss.  I'm terrified of them, they can't do anything (not that I know of anyway), but they used to dive bomb my hair, get caught and then hiss in my ear.  Gah, I hate those effers!!!
