Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Would you wake her?

So LO rarely naps for long during the day--usually just short stints throughout, no more than an hour at a time. Today though, she was awake most of the AM (from 6am-7:30am and then again from 9am-12:30pm) and has been napping for almost 4 hours.

This is so weird--do you think I should wake her up? Arg, I dont know!

And in your experience, if a baby sleeps more during the day, will they not sleep at night?

Will baby #3 be another girl?

Re: Would you wake her?

  • It all depends for me.  What time is it there? When was the last time she ate.  DD goes to bed around 7-730 so I like her naps to be done by 5 if I can so she can get a bottle in before her bedtime bottle. Does that make sense?  But if she has been off, possibly sick or even a growth spurt, I wouldn't wake her.  GL  Lucky you for such a great nap today!

  • I usually wake DS up if its after 5 so it doesn't mess with his bed time too much.  Does your LO have something going on that would make her need the sleep?
