Ok so my D&C was in January of this year. It took 2 months to get KU for that pregnancy. It has been about 5 months that we have been trying. 3 that has been charted which were all normal and ovulatory (sp). If it doesn't happen this month (which I dont think it will with the temps I see as well as the wonderful AF symptoms) DH is going to a SA just to make sure his boys are ok and I was thinking of doing the CD3 bloodwork just to make sure all is good with that. This may seem premature but its fully covered by insurance and very simple to do. My ? is my friend has convinced me that I should go to see her RE for a consult.
Another concern I have is scarring from the D&C becuase it seemed that the Dr was in hurry and could give a sh**t and was SO rough with it (I was awake) I feel like I wanted to also have the Hsg done to ease my mind to make sure all is clear.
I don't know if my EDD coming up is making me crazy but I feel like if something was wrong and be fixed, Id rather do it sooner than later...
So my ?'s are:
Should I wait to do that with the RE, wait on going to the RE?
Have it all done for peace of mind?
Or just continue trying?
Thanks for reading and TIA for your advice/opinions!!
Re: I need some advice, opinions... LONG
If your insurance covers it, I probably would do what I needed to for peace of mind. I've had a d&c and worry about scarring too.....I got pregnant pretty early with both of my pregnancies as well....and hasn't happened quick so far this time.....so considering your conerns......and knowing it's covered, I probably would do what eases my mind
Well let me ask you this, how long have you been ttc again and during the start of ttc again how long have you been charting? Have you considered maybe not charting for a couple of cycles because maybe charting is stressing you out?
I would wait on the RE, I would test first because if there really is a problem find out first before you spend all that money at the RE, that's just my opinion though. And in the meantime while you're getting the testing done maybe you can do research on REs in your area so if/when you decide to see one you know it's someone you're happy with. GL.
TTC 5 months since, charting 3. I am def. not charting next cycle because it does stress me out too much! Just going to do OPK's and CBFM. For the most part my O day is consistent so...
I know the RE that I would for sure go to. And luckily he is across the hall from my work and is amazing!!
I actually have a secondary insurance through my hubs work that offers 10 thou of coverage toward this stuff.
Yes, thank you. You are right!
