Back from IUI

DH had a great specimen this time - over 106 million total and 53 million per cc! I was so afraid since we didn't BD the night of trigger, but man we had a great count this morning!

So, here's the recap:

Awesome specimen + timed insemination + 3 follies + FWP tonight + the lucky charm POAS + several liters of Pom juice + pineapple core 1-5dpo - (minus) the baby aspirin =  KU????

Now I just have to get busy tonight and endure the 2ww. I will take all the BFP dust you can spare!

I know, right! RE says 2 for sure and the 3rd one most like was big enough by today. They still grow even after you trigger! And I'm actually glad we didn't BD yesterday because his count was awesome this morning. I still had a surge around 6am so I'm going to check it again this afternoon.

It was awesome to see the +HPT by the way. I thought it would bother me, but it actually felt good!

I tried to get DH to do something last night, but he wanted to give it longer than 36 hrs, so I guess we'll see how it goes!

I'm SO nervous about the iui tomorrow, and DH can't decide if he wants to do it there or bring in his sample.

PS.  I'll prob POAS afterwards too, it's actually good to do once a day until you figure out when the HCG trigger is out of your system.  That way you know your BFP is real when you get it in 2 weeks!

I've been on a daily baby aspirin for almost 10 months since my last m/c and have had no luck. I read as much as I could on it and decided to forgo taking it this month. 

 Since aspirin can help thin the blood for those who need it, baby aspirin is standard for helping with infertility. RE says it promotes bloodflow to the ovaries and uterus. It can also aid in implantation because the platelets become slicker.

I was tested for Factor 8 (clotting factor) and it was on the low end of normal. Since both of my BFP's were without baby aspirin, and I haven't conceived in 10 months...I figured it can't kill me to try without.

Charteachs sent me some info. I can share if you're interested.

We BD'd on Monday night so that made about 60 hours abstaining before IUI. I was so nervous we didn't BD Tues night, but his count was great.

I think the recommendation is no more than 4 days abstaining. You shouldn't have to worry if DH's SA was normal.

I can't help you on the sample. Our RE is 1 hour away so we have to do it there. DH says it's less than desirable to collect there. I think he'd much rather do it at home. But as you know, that's one more thing to worry about!

I'm so excited for you tomorrow! How many follies did you have ready?

Only one follie at 20mm... my other one seemed to stop growing when this one matured, which I guess is what they're supposed to do, but still disappointing. 

We're upping the Clomid dose from 50 to 75 or 100 next cycle if this one is a bust though, so maybe then I'll get more than one finally!

That cute little follie might be your baby bean though! I was lucky enough to have 1 dominant on each side that's why they're unsure of the 3rd one. 

I hope you don't need that extra Clomid next month because you get a BFP!
