Pumping annoyance

I hate when I get different amounts each time I pump.  Like yesterday I got six ounces with my first pump of the day, and today I only got 4.5 ounces.  I know this is probably normal, but I hate not being able to depend on how much I am going to get.

I am just annoyed.

    I totally agree!  Over the weekend I was getting 6 or 6.5 oz for my first morning pump.  Then Monday - Wednesday I only got 3 oz.  It's so discouraging to start off the day so low when I know I have a goal to meet.

    Luckily it's picking back up now (I got 5oz this morning), but I really wish it were consistent too.  But then again, I guess that would mean that DD's sleep would have to stay consistent, which it is far from doing.

    I'm on my third day of fenugreek, I am hoping it starts making a difference soon!

    I agree...I didn't pump for two days last week, and when I did I only got a few ounces, and I usually get between 6-8. ?Luckily it's come back, but I was worried. ?I'm trying to build up the freezer stash for when I go back to school. ?
