So we were supposed to do IUI#5 this cycle, but we weren't sure if we were going to make it to trigger by vacation day, so we did TI instead. And low and behold AF showed up tonight, 12dpo.

I'm just numb. MH is healthy, so the only problem is O'ing. Question is should I keep throwing $$ away on IUIs or just try TI a few more months. They both give me the same result BFFN.

I so wish we could afford IVF.

Re: :(Another cycle down the drain!
UGH! I am so sorry. If you do TI would you be doing meds as well? If the problem is Oing and you would still do meds and monitoring, I would find out how much difference it is for the IUI over the TI and go from there. From what I understand the big cost in IUI is not the IUI itself, but all the monitoring, Rx, etc. beforehand which we did with TI as well. So perhaps see what the numbers are and see what your RE thinks if the IUI is increasing odds or not really and make your decision from there.
If you are suggesting doing TI but you are not Oing then that would just get really frustrating for me, unless you O but just not consistently? GL girl, so sorry!
I'm sorry.
i was told IUI wouldn't help unless there were male factors - it is a waste of money -
i would do TI and just bank the rest towards ivf - i've seen places offer mini stim cycles for about 5-6K - that would be only the cost of 2-3 iuis with injectibles
