So here's the story - about 7:30 last night I had been sitting working on the computer. I notice my upper arm is kinda itchy, I look and it looks like I have several mosquito bites, and over the course of ten minutes or so they continue to swell until it looks like just one big hive. I put some of DS's calendula cream on it, and it stopped itching. It eventually faded, and about 9pm I changed out of my jeans into pj pants, and noticed that I had the same thing on my entire left thigh. I hadn't noticed it until I got out of my jeans.
I went to bed, and a couple hours later woke up and it the thigh was cleared up, but I could tell that it was now all over my OTHER thigh, and all over my butt and stomach!! What the heck?? When I woke up in the morning it was mostly gone, and I didn't notice it all day.
I spent the day at the office, at client's houses, and at home. Didn't have it at all. I got home for good at 7, and shortly after I noticed that I have it again on my legs! I don't know what it is?! I haven't done anything different, or eaten anything different, or been anywhere different. It starts even when I have long sleeves or jeans on, and at the same time two nights in a row.
So, Dr. EFFers, what do you think??
I tried to get a couple good photos of it on my leg:

Re: diagnose me!
You poor thing!
Heat rash?
Stress hives?
Barbed wire you didn't know you had in your clothing?
Ok, the last is pretty unlikely, but are you getting it when your clothes are tight or pull after having worn them for a while? Switched detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, or even used someone else's washer/dryer?

I can't think of a single thing that is different. I wore my jeans all day today and it just started after 7. Have been using the same detergent for months. Same body wash. It's not heat. What's weird is that it has shown up at the exact same time two nights in a row now.
I'm thinking about calling my midwife in the morning, just to check in and make sure it's not pregnancy related or anything that is dangerous. (I researched all the pregnancy rashes, it doesn't seem to fit any of the descriptions.)

If it started on your stomach or back, there's a chance you could have a case of weird that's technically called pityriasis rosea. I got it the winter before I got married, and it started as a spot on my stomach, moved to a big fat christmas tree pattern (I was soooo seasonal!) and spread to my arms and legs around my joints. I can't tell if the spots you have look much like the ones I had, but they started small and spread to the size of my thumbpad. They got worse as the day went on (probably from building up body heat as the day progressed, my doc said), but they stayed without going away, though.
All of which is to say "could be that, could be not."
I hope you feel better!

I posted in your 6-12 thread, but I am *guessing* that it's poison ivy
I have had it many times, and it looks EXACTLY like that.
I've never ever had poison ivy - would it go away and come back like this? And it really doesn't itch. And neither DS nor DH have it. And the only time I could have gotten it would have been last Friday, and I didn't have these symptoms until last night.
Either way...I'm going to call my m/w in the morning and possibly my primary physician.
Any news from your m/w??
It is very possible to get PI and not show symptoms for that long. My co-worker has it. He got it 2 Sundays ago, but didn't notice it until last Friday. (so, 5 days later). It is also common for it to sort of fade/diminish and then come back fierce like that. The fact that you noticed some on your stomach too, tells me it's spreading
I sent the pics to my Dad. He is in surgery all day today, but I am curious to hear what he thinks it might be.
