how many wash cycles to prep unbleached organic pfs?

I just finished the 3rd cycle.  I did 2 washes and then a dry and will do another one cycle and dry again, but I'm thinking they won't be fully prepped by then.  I haven't prepped prefolds in a year so am a bit out of practice. 

I know 4 is the minimum though, just wasn't sure what is the average.  Any thoughts?

I just prepped mine this week and did 5 (or was it 6?) wash/dry/wash/dry/etc cycles.

I just read the other day that you are supposed to wash them 5x before use.

ok, so i've done 4, so i'll think i'll do 2 more and call it a day.  i'm so excited to use them especially since the reds were getting too small!
