What's funny is that DH and I don't remember ever meeting for the first time. We were friends in college and afterwards for a few years before we started dating. However, there was one weekend when he came to visit me and some other friends that things just clicked. Instant attraction ... with someone I'd known for 3-4 years.

that he was a ***! lol we worked at the same car dealership and he never said much but always had this look on his face "move or I will kill you" so I was pretty much freaked out by him for awhile then we went out for a coworkers birthday and he came at first I was like "great this will be fun" and then he got a couple beers in him and it was the best night!! he started talking and telling jokes! we all had so much fun! We were sitting next to eachother but then I moved to sit next to the girls and he thought it was bc I didnt want to sit near him and wasnt into him but really I just wanted to whisper bout him to the girls lol If he wouldnt have came out that night we probably wouldnt be married right now.

I met my husband in 2nd grade!  I thought he was soooo cute!  We reconnected 14 years later online!  And then he was even hotter!

I thought he was cute--tall and handsome.  He looked better in person than in the pictures on Match.com. I kinda thought he was a party guy, and he was unobtainable.  He was --it is called a red dress and a cute smile. :  )

DH is tall and fit build...not my usual.  Actually the first hockey playing bf i've ever had.

But what really got me was when he open his mouth to speak......DEEP voice made me melt!

I was dating his best friend B the first time I met H (long complicated story), and I thought "wow, B has hot friends!".

Wow! What a hottie!!! I thought he was quite a few years older than me, and probably involved w/someone already. We worked together, and someone noticed him checking me out one day and came told me.....I figured he'd be a "player" or "jerk".....a co-worker randomly gave him my #, (w/o asking me, I might add!) and out of the blue we ended up going out! Hooked a sweetie!!! (I've had a good snuggle day at home w/my hubby and dd!!! A good rainy, snuggie day!!! )

BF and I have 'known' each other online for 11 years (since 1999 - I was 14, he was 17). We liked the same music and found each other through some random old chat room kinda thing.. we stayed in touch quite frequently, and there were different points in time when we crushed on each other. However... him being in Australia, and me in Canada, we both just shrugged it off and carried on talking about the music that we liked... introducing local indie bands to each other etc.

 Flash forward to Oct 2007 - he was planning a trip up to the States with a buddy of his. Buddy got called into the Aussie airforce and had to cancel the trip. He was bummed, so I said change your ticket and come up to Canada instead.. my room mates and I will show you around.

So.. from the time I actually physically met him, my heart stopped. I knew he was the one for me.

We've been together since, and are in the process of getting him Canadian citizentship.

 

And there's my nerdy, online love story.

I thought he was nice, but more of a "friend boy."  He liked me, but I was all "Oh, I don't know...  He's just so nice"  Then my roommate decided she liked him and was going to after him, and I got all jealous!  So I decided I better act before it was too late!  I guess it worked, b/c now I love him more than anything!

DH and I started off as "pen pals" about 12 years ago while he was going through boot camp and I was starting my first semester in college. I LOVED reading his letters. He came off funny, smart and witty. We met face-to-face a few months later and I realized how much of his personality came through in the things he wrote. The rest is history.

The first time I met him?  (9th Grade)  I thought he was a tall skinny dork, but I dated him for a year anyway. 

 

Flash forward 10 years.  Found him on Myspace.  

 

I couldn't believe how chubby he had gotten and was amazed that being chubby actually made him incredibly handsome....some ppl just need some fat.
