I have found some that are over $300 and I have found one that is $150 I would like to get the cheaper one but does anyone know if there is much of a difference in them.
I have been looking at the LA Baby Two in One Organic Cotton Orthopedic Mattress does anyone know anything more about this one?
Re: Organic crib mattress?
There's some interesting info in this thread about it:

The fire retardant used is a chemical that's also used to kill insects. I tried contacting the company to get more info but they were completely non responsive, which makes me uncomfortable. I also didn't like the idea of a wool mattress cover, though, as most of the completely organic mattresses have. I ended up getting this one from Costco:

I really like it so far. It's by the same company, so it may or may not be any better than the other one, but there was more assurance in my mind that there was nothing toxic in it.
