3rd tri XP: Borax?

Does anyone know if it's safe to use Borax while pregnant?  I mix it with water and lemon juice as an all purpose cleaner, but just realized I haven't looked into whether it's safe to use or not.  I googled, but I'm getting mixed info about it.  Anyone have any idea?

I honestly cannot see why it would be dangerous. ?As long as you're not mixing it with anything that creates fumes or gasses that you are then inhaling, it shouldn't be a problem. ?It certainly cannot be any worse than using something like Windex to clean your windows while pregnant (I know - totally not eco-friendly. ?Vinegar and water is better; just mentioning it because I imagine a ton of pregnant women clean their windows with Windex and their babies are fine). ?

are you eating it?  If not, I'm going to say it's fine.  Maybe use gloves when you clean, but you should probably be doing that anyway just to protect your skin in general.

Nope definately not eating it, and I do wear gloves because I'm a total germophobe   I figured it's gotta be better than pine sol or whatever else people use to clean.
