home lead test/swabs?

Have you used them? I'm trying to decide how quickly our bedroom windows need to be replaced...

    We used some to figure out if the paint on some of our doors was lead based.  Of course, it was.  Which reminds me... we need to check the bathroom door...  We just got ones from Menards.

    yeah, i'm afraid of what it might say now that we're in the new house... the windows need to be refinished/ replaced anyway, the paint is chipping like crazy, but it'd be nice to know if there is lead- it'll happen this weekend if it is!
