Okay, this is a completely random question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. If you're doing two (or more) solids at a meal, is it better to do them separately or just mix them together? Or should it be a combination? For example, if I'm doing peas, carrots, and cereal, is it better to do each individually, or mix them together? The lazy part of me wants to put everything together (within reason, of course), but I'm trying to figure out if there are benefits of DDs eating/tasting each component separately.

Re: Solids ?--separate or mixed?
We stopped cereal at 6 months bc they hated it. Otherwise I do fruit/veggie combos all the time (it is the only way I can get them to eat peas).
I would def. make sure they taste them by themselves as well though.
I try each veggie by itself first and get their reaction from that.
The really don't like the stringbeans - so I mix them with Sweet Potatoes. I also mix avacoda & sweet potatoes.
It's not lazy to mix them together - even Geber mixes foods together.
When they start eating more table food they will taste things apart.
