For those with blocked tubes...

How painful was the HSG for you? What was the worst part? When did the pain subside?

 AF showed today and I need to schedule this test again(after cancelling last cycle!) but I am truly terrified. There is a very, very good chance I have at least 1, if not both tubes blocked. I'm not able to take any pain meds beforehand, so my anxiety is through the roof regarding the pain level. Any details you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

After many struggles we are ecstatically and cautiously expecting! FET#1- BFN FET#2- BFP 5w2d- 1 healthy sac 6w3d- Heartbeat!!     I had one done yrs ago and had a uterine septum.  It was uncomfortable but not killer.  I am getting another one today and will post later how it went.  Hang in there.... it will be ok.  :)

    My left tube was blocked and I didn't find the HSG painful.  There were some uncomfortable AF like cramps but they were minor and didn't last long at all.

    I have 1 blocked tube and it was uncomfortable, but not painful.
