When to do acupuncture?

I used to go before I started Clomid, but it got too expensive and it wasn't helping so I stopped.  Now that my cycles are more regulated, I was thinking of giving it a shot this cycle, but I'm already on CD 9, will probably ovulate around CD 15 or so and not sure if it's too late for it to do any good this time around?  Thoughts?

It depends on what issues/concerns you're dealing with - that will determine when in your cycle you should get accupuncture.  I have issues with fluctuating temperatures/progesterone in my lutuel phase, so I only ever go for accupunctures on 7DPO and 14DPO.  If you're having problems with estrogen or with ovulating, then you would likely go during the first part of your cycle.

My acupuncturist also does it before and after ovulation-- to send blood to the uterus and hopefully help an embryo implant.  I would definitely say it's not too late!

When it didn't work before were you seeing an IF specialist acupuncturist?  I switched to one and it made a world of difference from the general acupuncturist.
