NBR: Traveling to St Louis tomorrow- help on location of attraction?

Ive been to St Louis before and went to this touristy area that I really want to go back to when I am there this week, all I remember was there was little shops and the cutest resturants, all little mom and pop places. It was near a river and some Lewis and Clark statue. There was a nice walkway and area to picnic near the water. The shops were mostly boutiques and spice/kitchen stuff. I think I remember it being in covered brick on the ground too. It was just sooo cute and I loved it there, anyone know what this area is called? I want to look it up online. Also, how far away is it from the airport??

Thanks!

  • You are talking about downtown St. Charles.  just google st. charles,mo on google maps and it will give you the location info.  it is a great area!

  • Yep that is main street st. charles.  It is not far from the airport at all.  You would just take 70 westbound and get off at the first exit past the Blanchette or Missouri River Bridge ( you will see the Ameristar Casino to your right).  If you stay in the right lane you can just follow signs to Main Street.

  • I hope you enjoy your visit to Saint Louis, you will be exiting at the Fifth Street Exit from Highway 70!
