Good morning ladies. I am finally back from our christian family camp weekend. It was an amazing time. No television, no computers, no radios, just spending time with your families. It had a huge impact on us and I hope that we bring the things we learned and take them forward. I pray that God will bless each and every one of you in some small way today and that you will be open to hear/see that blessing.
Verse...... "Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows." Isaiah 53:4
Thought for today... What you look for in life you will surely find. But the direction in which you look is up to you. Arthur Gordon.

Poem...
*Two Boxes*
I have in my hands two boxes
Which God gave me to hold.
He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black,
And all your joys in the gold."
I heeded His words, and in the two boxes
Both my joys and sorrows I store,
But though the gold became heavier each day
The black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black
I wanted to find out why
And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused aloud,
"I wonder where my sorrows could be."
He smiled a gentle smile at me.
"My child, they're all here with me."
I asked, "God, why give me the boxes,
Why the gold, and the black with the hole?"
"My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
the black is for you to let go
Re: Inspiration for today... "Two boxes"
That's a beautiful poem. It reminds me that sometimes I just need to give all of my sorrows to God. He can handle them better than me. I struggle with doing that. But I'm going to try!
