DH just finally called the urologist today about me somewhat nagging him for the past two weeks. I am so excited that it only took him a week and a half to get in for a consult and two more weeks after that for the procedure. They always do them on Fridays so you have the weekend to recoup. I go in for my 6 week pp appt soon so only a few weeks to worry about anything before DH gets snipped and we never have to worry about it again.  I'm so freakin excited!

Sounds like you're really excited! Is your DH worried about the procedure at all? I'm not sure how mine would feel. I guess if you know you are sure about your decision to not have any more kids this is a good way to go.... you'll never have to worry about BC again!

I think he's a tiny bit anxious about what they're going to actually do to him. He knows it's not going to be terrible or really invasive but you're still talking about an important area. I think he'll feel better after the consult.
