I'm not the type of person to read a zillion books, but I know that I have holes in my knowledge and would like to have a reference. I saw "You and Your Pregnancy: Week by week" in the library today and it's my front runner.
Get it online its the best! It comes to my email every week telling me what is going on with my body and my baby this week. I do what to expect online and your pregnancy week by week online.
I'm reading Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy. When I looked on Amazon, it had better reviews that What to Expect... I really like it so far. It goes through each week and tells you what's happening with the baby and with your body. It also has sections on when you should call the doctor.
I also signed up on babycenter.com to get weekly e-mails saying what's going on and how the baby is developing. I like that too, eventhough it's some of the same info.
I am reading What To Expect When You Are Expecting and I like it more than I would have uh, expected!!!
I had purchased the Your Pregnancy Week by Week book but I returned it after reading a couple chapters because I glanced ahead at Week 28 and saw something that I'd have have wanted to know up front in week 4. That made me not like it as much. It seems like you can just read a portion each week but really you don't get all the info together. It is more piecemeal.
Obviously this is just my opinion and others have liked it. Thought I'd share my perspective.
Next on my list is Baby Bargains. I picked it up today and need to delve into the gear!
