Anyone's tail-bone hurt?

My tail bone has been killing me for about 3 weeks now. I didn't fall or anything, so I am not sure what's going on.

I forgot to talk to OB/ GYN last week about it.

So I was wondering if it was a "pregnancy" thing. I didn't have this issue with my first...

YES. Mine hurts on and off for a week or so at a time... it's painful and annoying, especially sitting at my desk all day at work, or during movies, etc.

I tell DH I have Restless Butt Syndrome.

Mine hurts off and on,  if I sit for too long or in a hard chair.  Since work has me sitting at my desk a lot, I sit on one foot sometimes so there isn't pressure directly down on my tailbone.

Yes mine does. It feels like my tailbone is bruised or something. When Im seated in a hard chair its painful to stand up. I asked my dr last week and she said that my tailbone probably WAS indeed bruised. Just from the extra weight of being pregnant. She said to use one of those doughnut seat cushions ( The one 80 year olds use, LOL) She also said to get prenatal massages becaus a bruised tailbone can cause pressure and pain to your lower back. I wasnt mad about telling DH I HAD to get massages.....So GL

Since the 1st tri.  I am pretty sure I started sitting differently and it put too much pressure on my tail bone.  I went to Brookstone and bought this great seat cushion from the NAP line for my office chair.  It helps a lot.

Me!  But it doesn't hurt like a dull pain.  It feels like a pinched nerve or something and it happens randomly.  It hurts so bad though.  I have to change my position to try to relieve it.

Yes... I keep telling my DH it feels like I need to pop it... but it is so sore. I can't figure out why!
