Sucks to realize that AFTER I had washed a huge load of diapers. Line drying was my best friend in the old house, but we still don't have a line up at our new house yet. The HOA prohibits them, but I'm trying to figure out a way to rig one that maybe wouldn't be visible from the road. Our backyard is private, but not fenced....so, depending on where the line is, maybe we could get away with it, idk.
At any rate, I now have a full load of cloth diapers, wipes, inserts, a pail liner and wetbag strewn all over my house. And I'm thinking my 9 GMs and inserts might be dry by next Thursday at this point
Re: I think my dryer is a goner.
Boooooo! That SUCKS! When I dry mine in the house I separate the soakers, hang one layer over each side of whatever I'm drying on (I usually use DD's crib), then flop the body of the diaper over next to it. Let dry for a few hours, then flip. They always dry before the end of the day this way.
I leave the fan on too but I'm not sure if that really helps or if it just makes me feel better!
