Swaddle from the waist down

I swaddle my 4 month old from the waste down.  He at times now can roll to his stomach.  If you swaddle only legs did you stop once your LO could roll?

actually we started to swaddle DD from the waist down once she could roll. This way she had her arms free.  The blanket we use has velcro on it (swaddle me blanket) so even when she rolls it stays put.  I don't think I'd feel comfortable using a regular blanket though, that probably woudln't stay put when she rolled.

We are working towards weaning from the swaddle because of LO learning how to roll.  She hasn't rolled in her sleep yet, so we're swaddling really loose and just waist down.

LO rolled in her sleep so we started swaddling from the waist down so that her arms were free.  I did that for about a week.  Now she is in a sleep sack.
