Thought and Prayers

for my friends family. I went in today to drop off my insurance check at my friends shop to have my car fixed. I knew when I went in something was wrong but I just thought maybe it was me. No one at the desks said anything to me so i waited for the guys who know me the best to help me since my friend wasnt there. So its my turn and I wobble over to hand him my check and he asks if I have heard the news, (here I am thinking its something with my car) I say no he tells me to sit down. So I take my seat knowing what is coming out of his mouth the tears come to my eyes faster than I could even blink.

He tells me that there was a scuba accident yesterday and my friend was killed. I didnt ask any details I pretty much cried said how sorry I was asked to please make sure I know when the services are and I left.

What a great man. He has a two year old daughter and was supposed to get married next month. What a proud father he was I sat with hi just last week as he showed me tons of pics of his little girl, and we talked about how great it is to have a baby. Please keep his family in your thoughts during this difficult time. Life is so easily taken in a moment. Tonight hold your DH/SO just a little closer. TIA
