NBR: Any golf experts? What is the best golf shoe?

I want to get SO a new pair of golf shoes for his b-day but I don't know where to start?!  Which brand and/or style is the best for men??

I believe these are the ones my DH has. And the ones his best buddy has also. No complaints and the price is right )

What does he have now?  I'd probably stick with the same brand unless he had complaints about them.

Thanks!  These look similar to what he has now.  Not sure what brand he has but it may be these same ones.  Though he's had them for years and is due for a new pair.

It all depends on the fit. Just like any other shoe says my husband who has five pair.

Eccos are really nice. My husband has two pair of them.

His Nike are his favorite though.

I've been playing golf since I was in 4th grade.  Out of the tons of golf shoes I've owned over the years, my absolute favorite are my Nike's.  My husband loves his Adidas and his FootJoys.  All of the Nike's I have ever had have been like wearing my running shoes.  And they have some awesome new styles out.  I actually just got a pair that are shox, but have the golf spikes in them.

There is no one "best" brand or style. It is like any other shoe - all that matters is how it fits his foot.

As an example my husband loves his Nikes, my dad was only comfy in Reebok. I have Footjoy.

I would take him to the golf store and let him pick.

Thanks ladies.  I went with a pair of footjoys.  I will just let him try them on and if he doesn't like the fit we can exchange them.
