I really hate sposies!

I've been CDing my LO, but using sposies to run out or at night. They have leaked every single time I've used them at night!  I thought it would be better than using PFs so she'd feel dry, but I'm done!

RIght now all I have are Kissaluvs and PFs for the newborn stage. Is it time to move on to some more absorbent/stay dry type of CD? What do you all recommend? I have some fuzzibunz, but they are still too big for her.

Re: I really hate sposies!

  • If she still fits into the KL and prefolds and doesn't fit into bigger diapers yet, I'd say you don't need to buy a special type of diaper to get stay dry fabric-- just get some cheap regular fleece and cut it up to make liners.  No sewing necessary because fleece doesn't fray.  Then put it in the diaper and it will keep her dry!  We do this at night with our B4s :)

That said, depending on how often you change her at night, you may not need a liner at all.  But it's a cheap way to ensure dryness, so no big deal if you just want to be on the safe side :)
