2nd Trimester

Anyone else feel totally normal?

As Queen Worrywart of course I worry even when things are good...

I just feel completely NORMAL!  During first tri I was SUPER TIRED and nauseous, although I didnt throw up ever and my boobs were KILLING me and ginormous.  I know you start to feel better during second tri but should I be feeling NO SYMPTOMS at all?

I'm not tired, my appetite is back to normal with some passing nausea and my boobs are still big but not hurting.  I've had some headaches and leg/back pain but nothing crazy.

How does everyone else feel??

Re: Anyone else feel totally normal?

  • Yes. I felt completely and utterly normal too and it worried me a lot because i just wanted to *feel* something! well don't worry, time goes by fast and pretty soon you'll be woken up in the middle of the night by your LO swiftly kicking you in the bladder, and dealing with all the other fun stuff like backaches and heartburn.

enjoy the peace while you've got it ;)

  • Just be grateful you're feeling good.

I feel a ton better than a few weeks ago, but would LOVE to be rid of this never ending heartburn and constipation--it keeps me feeling crummy and I'm sick of it.

  • It doesnt last. Embrace it while you still can. It so amazing to "forget" your pregnant, further along.. Feeling Normal just doesnt exist.
  • Yup, I feel the same way but not worried about it. I'm trying to enjoy it while I can. :)

  • Yes! for about a week or so I have felt pretty good. I am trying not to freak out about it but it was kind of nice to have some symptoms to confirm that everything is going well.

  • I have also had similar anxiety since the majority of my MS went away. Luckily for me I have an appt tomorrow so I will get to hear the HB and know that everything is stil going well.
  • Other than the baby moving, I feel normal too!
