Maclaran Triumph vs. Quest

Which did you choose and why? I'm wondering if it's worth the extra money to get the Quest.

Re: Maclaran Triumph vs. Quest

  • I love our Triumph.  It's light and easy to use.

  • I LOVE my quest!   Wouldn't trade it for anything.   I liked the extra features (recline, window in the sunshade)  It was worth every penny

  • I LOVE our triumph.  I wouldn't pay a nickle more for an umbrella stroller...in fact, the triumph reclines and that's the only reason we even opted for it over the more basic volo.
  • I have the Quest.  My best friend has the Triumph.  There is really very little difference overall.  The Quest reclines a little more and has an adjustable leg rest.  There is a little more padding too.  My friend doesn't use hers everyday.  I do.  So that's why I opted for the bigger (1 pound heavier) version.  I'd recommend the same to you- if you use it a lot, splurge.  If not, the Triumph will be fine.

The big thing to me was the buckle- the Quest has a newer version- I dont' know if the Triumph has it too.  But I know it's on 2008 and newer models so make sure you get one that a more recent model.   It doesn't let fingers get caught in it.  It's a large round buckle vs. the old rectangle one.  After getting my fingers caught in my old stroller every other day, it was such a big deal to me.
