I was reading your post about showers making you sick.
I still suffer from nausea and I know sometimes I feel as if I am going to fain in the shower.
Buy a collapsible/portable shower seat and let the water be tepid to cool. Sit down and take your time. Make sure the water is not on a high flow because that can heighten your blood pressure if you are really sensitive. Think of it as a gentle rainfall.
Use a lemon scented bath gel or something with eucalyptus or peppermint.
I am so sorry you are going through this...I know how horrible it feels and it's certainly challenging.
Hang in there.
Hope you feel better soon!

First of all, let me tell you how excited I was to be paged! The only one who ever pages me is my friend Lauren and we know each other in "real life", lol.
Second, thanks for all the tips. I will definitely be trying them. Weirdly enough, I never feel bad while I am in the shower, but I only have about 60 seconds after I get out before I throw up. I still think it may have a lot to do with over exertion since the only other time I get up during the day is to go to the bathroom. I have definitely lost muscle mass over the last 5 weeks or so, and my arms and legs are always shaking from exhaustion by the time I am done. Ugh. I am so ready for this to be over. My only hope now is that the nausea will go away sometime before the baby is born.
Thanks for the encouragement!
awww, you're cute, i'll have to page you more often.
i feel so bad you are going through this and I know how traumatic it can be.
please take it easy, slow and be patient with yourself and the process.
wish there was a magical way i could make it go away for you because i know how detrimental it can be to routine and comfort.
sending you prayers for better days ahead.
