Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Toddler beds are for chumps. Mommy's bed is much cooler.

When we travel DD and I usually share a room. She sleeps in a toddler bed (twin bed with toddler railings) at home and she's too big for her travel crib so this trip I borrowed this trundle bed type deal and set DD up in the corner of the guest room we're using.

I put her down for the night last night and everything went fine.  Not a peep could be heard on the baby monitor.  But when I went in to go to bed I found DD had moved herself, her water sippy, and her taggie onto my bed and ensconced herself nicely under my pajama top.

I just went to check on her after I put her down for her nap and it appears my little itinerant napper has done the same thing again.  So cute!  But I'm hoping she'll take more kindly to being moved back to her bed when I go to sleep in the future.  I love that she tucks herself into my pajama top but I hate being beaten awake at 6a.

Thank God we put a baby gate up on the bedroom door.  If she decided that the couch or the bathtub was an even cooler sleeping location than Mommy's bed I think I would have a heart attack.
