EF ladies, have any of you tried soapnuts?

Hi, I'm in the process of researching alternatives to store-bought laundry soaps and stumbled across something called soapnuts.

Have any of you ever used them? What were the results? Any tips or alternate suggestions?

I haven't used the nuts themselves, but I've heard good things about them. I will probably get a box next time I'm at the store.?

I do use Maggie's Soap Nuts liquid and love it. Works great on diapers and clothes and doesn't irritate my EXTREMELY sensitive DD. ?

I haven't used them.  But, all the reports I've heard were the opposite of what Aggieabbie has heard.  Everyone I've spoken to that has tried them said it would be just as effective to toss a few rocks into their washer.  Eekers!

I just ordered a small pack to try.  I've heard great things about them for CD and all other laundry.  I will post my experience with them once I get a chance to try them out.

I use them and love them.  I can't use regular detergent anymore (skin issues) so these were a great alternative.  Everything in my wash seems to come out clean, so I can't complain!  I use some scent stuff with it so my clothes also come out smelling good.
