Anyone had a virus on their computer lately?

The only 2 sites I looked at yesterday was this one and FB. All of the sudden my computer froze and was stating I need to run a virus scan blah blah..Anyways I took it to Best Buy and the guy at the geek squad fixed everything.  I asked him if he could tell where the virus came from and he said more than likely a site I had been looking at that day. I don't know much about computers and viruses etc.. so I just took his word and didn't ask anymore questions. Anyone have any trouble yesterday with a virus?

Probably FB. My computer was attacked by spyware last year BADLY. The tech told me Myspace was the worse. You can get hit w/o even knowing and then spread it. I'm sure fb is the same way.

I had one maybe a year ago and Spy Hunter was the only thing that fixed it.  I got another one a few months ago and had to have McAfee take control remotely to fix it.
