Baby kicks ALL NIGHT LONG

I know kicks are cute and all -- the miracle of life -- blah, blah, blah. But Jack was up ALL NIGHT! I'm not talking a roll here and a poke there -- he was kicking me repeatedly in the same spot from 11pm to 4:30am and doing that roll-punch thing they do where you have no idea what body part is beating you, but you're pretty sure your LO just grew three more legs. You know the feeling. Baby boxing, maybe??

I walked around, I jumped up and down, I rolled over in different positions. He was a monster.

The only thing that helped was to have DH put his hand on my tummy -- Jack always calms down when DH tries to feel him go crazy.

I honestly got ZERO sleep last night. Because my baby wanted to party in my ute. I already want to ground this kid.

I feel you on that I couldn't fall asleep last night because of the kicking. No matter what I tried to do he just would not relax. Finally at like 330 he calmed down and then the FI's phone decided to start ringing at 5am so at this point I'm running on about 2 hours sleep.

I think at times he's trying to escape early, he kicks my cervix sooooo hard! I keep telling him he needs to stay in a little longer and get a little cuter. I love the daytime movement but the nights are killing me.

DD used to do that, and it was always worse after I had a really busy day. Your activity lulls baby to sleep, so when you rest, it's party time! Enjoy! :-)

My aunt has told me that when she was pregnant with my cousin he used to wake my UNCLE up (when they were cuddling) because he'd kick so hard at night, lol

yup, mine is a wiggle worm already and i know I'm in for some sleepless nights.

My doctor lets me take half of a unisom - that puts me to sleep for the entire night.  See if your doctor is okay with this.  If so, I suggest trying it.  I sleep so soundly, don't wake up to fetal movement, and feel rested the next morning.  Good luck mama - love the recent pic - you look precious.

I know the feeling!  We were working on the house all day yesterday so she didn't move much.  When it was time to lay down for bed, she was ready to play.  She moved all night long.  I was up every hour trying to get her to calm down.... nothing helped.  I was actually starting to worry because she's never been so active but I figure it's probably a good thing.  I need her to get back to her regular schedule
