makes me want to bash my head against my keyboard. Words like "preggo", "pregs" and questions like, "who got a BFN and then a BFP a few days later?"
Not to mention the "I have no symptoms, everything feels normal, is that normal?"
Relax ladies and enjoy this time!
Re: Spending time on the 1st tri board
Although I do think the first tri board is scary I have to say that I can kind of understand where posts like that come from. When its your first pregnancy then everything is so new and scary/exciting. I can completely understand being freaked out if my symptoms disappeared. I'm not saying its not annoying (google, people) but try to see if from the point of view of someone who has never gone through a pregnancy before. That might make it less annoying.
lol!
i have to admit- i was a mess in the first trimester! i was one of those ladies asking all the questions.
i did have a threatened m/c, so i guess i was allowed to be a little paranoid:)
Even when it was my first time, I usually lurked and made sure no one had posted that in the last couple pages or used google or whatever. I do understand the concern over symptoms, it's mostly the immature jargon (preggo and pregs) that really get me. That and someone posting something that had just been posted.
That said, I don't flame them in their posts, just getting a little frustration out here
I offer any advice when I have it and try to be purely helpful without sarcasm.
Totally! I would have been too!

What did pregnant women do before there were books, message boards, and websites? I'm guessing they probably asked friends and family...
I know sometimes there are cases when one doesn't want to share that they are pregnant or feels uncomfortable asking a question to someone in real life, or just doesn't have anyone to ask... but I enjoyed sharing my pregnancy with my mom and other friends who were already moms...
Not that I don't love the nest, but you know...
