can someone tell me how to hook my camera up to a mac?

i need to get pics off my camera and dh isn't here to help me.

well, with ours, all we do is either plug in the USB cord to the camera and the laptop, or set the camera on the dock. It automatically starts to download in 10 seconds.

Mine you just plug in with the USB cable, turn the camera to "play" (like how you would view the pictures on the camera) and iPhoto does the rest.

Yep, just hook your camera in and then wait a few seconds. I have mine set to open iphoto when the camera is hooked up. Then I pick the pictures I want to import and choose "import selected."

thanks- i just have to figure out how to plug the camera in. the back of the modem is very hard to get to!

You need to plug it into the modem?  Do you have a desktop or a laptop?

if you have a newer imac, you've got  USB jacks in the back of the monitor and on either side of the keyboard.
