1st Trimester

more spotting

I am having more spotting this morning. On Friday I had a light pink spot one time. I called this morning and they told me the same thing as last time, nothing can be done to stop what is going to happen, if it gets worse go to ER. I have no cramping. I only have lots and lots of worry. The spots are not red more or less just a brown, looks like dried blood maybe?

I know spotting is pretty common in 1st tri. I plan on calling tomorrow morning to schedule an appt with my OB

Re: more spotting

  • That probably is dried blood from when you spotted on Friday.  I would call your Dr tomorrow and if it gets worse or you get cramps head to the ER.  GL!

I had pink and brown spotting during my 1st tri and everything was ok.

Thank you. It is good to hear success stories with spotting. it always lifts my spirits.

  • Hang in there.  I've been dealing with spotting, too.  I hope we're both okay.

  •  I started spotting pink yesterday and still happening today. It's not all the time and it's not red. I keep reading that lots of women spot and everything is fine. I'm not cramping either so I'm trying to stay positive I'm also calling my doc tomorrow. Good luck. Let us know what your dr says.
  • I had brown spotting from week 6-9, with red spotting once about week 8. As far as I know everything is ok and it has all stopped now (knock on wood!)
