Ticked off at my DH

Today is our big U/S. I scheduled it on a Sat to avoid his work schedule. Well he springs on me on Wed. that he has reserves this weekend. Freaking great way to tell me ahead of time. He said he'd call and tell me if he was going to make it. We'll need to leave in a half hour and still no call. He doesn't know the office number so he told me to call the switch board and as for the x triple y. umm they have no idea what that is or what I'm asking about. They told me to ask my husband. Yeah well thanks genius if I could talk to my husband I wouldn't be calling you to try to talk to my husband. If I have to go to this alone I will kill him. I'm glad he's insured.

nope, the majority of our friends have PCS'd (moved) out of the area, we have no family here. I'll be going solo.

Maybe something came up and he physically can not call you? There could be some type of training exercise going on. I think that's happened to DH where they had fake emergency drills (he's in the military too) and he could not even go to a phone.

I would be really ticked off as well....try to stay calm for the scan - and kill him later.

My husband almost missed the NT scan because he forgot when it was scheduled for and had this big meeting at work (we could have rescheduled the scan had this come up sooner than the day before when I reminded him of the time we had to leave). I think they heard me in the next state...he went to the scan and explained to his boss, who luckily has three kids and understood. Now I make him enter in all appts into his Blackberry.
